I was born and bred in Peterborough, but moved to Somerset about seven years
ago to get married for the second time. For most of my working life, I have been employed as a PA/Secretary
across a wide spectrum of industries.
I have recently returned from living in Portugal for just under two years
with my husband’s job, where we lived on a smallholding (the only furnished house we could find to rent
that had a garden for our dog), so I have since added to my CV ‘Fruit and Poultry Farmer’!
My older brother died of a brain tumour a few years ago and it was horrendous watching him deteriorate over his last
months, and witnessing his body slowly shutting down. Obviously a lot of adjustments had to be made in his home
to accommodate this decline in his health.
Now I’m settled back in Blighty, I’m
looking forward to working closely with Nigel and Alan, and really hope I can help make a difference to peoples’ lives.
